Being creative is a huge part of me - in fact, I'd say it's who I am. All I can remember at the age of 5, is sitting on my bed, drawing. I knew then it was what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. My creativity flows out of me and fills me with joy and energy. I hope you enjoy it!

My art is often put into a very large context on interior and exterior building as murals. Beaches, volcanoes, or the rolling Tuscan hills- it doesn't matter what size or whether you want it on the floor or wall or ceiling. I can do it. I have my Working at Heights to 7m, my EWP card and my construction site White Card- all Nationally Recognised Training Australia.
I love to work with clients to help create a painting that is truly special to them and their home. Sometimes, I'm told a story that may go with an old photo and then the rest is up to me. I love painting memories. Being a surf artist, my art and design will always combine elements of light and water into a client's painting in a way that brings them joy and fits the style of their home.
Having been both a Graphic Arts lecturer and a fine art teacher, I have over twenty years experience in sharing my knowledge with others in a group setting for both private and corporate functions. Learning to draw the face or figure or painting the ocean in a three or four hour session is a refreshingly different and relaxing team building idea. POA.

I started my Art career as a professional Illustrator and Graphic Artist in 1987. I worked with watercolour and gouache, specializing in realistic illustrations for marketing and corporate clients. Eventually tiring of deadlines, I moved into fine art and teaching art - working mainly in acrylic and watercolour. I moved to Queensland's Gold Coast and learnt to surf- where my obsession with water and light began. Becoming a surf artist and integrating the ocean into my art and design was a natural progression.
My paintings evolve through my need to share the beauty in what I see.
I love to connect people with visual joy and believe that we should surround ourselves with things that make us smile, lift our hearts and soothe our souls.
My favourite subject is the ocean, followed closely by portraits of pets & people. As long as I'm being creative- I'm happy.
I spend a lot of time in the ocean- surfing and swimming. I'm usually sitting on my board when inspiration hits.
I want my art to feel vibrant and fresh. I want to bring people's attention to certain shapes and colours that lead them into a feeling or a memory.
I am fortunate enough to live in one of the most beautiful places on Earth and so I'm surrounded by inspiration to share it.
